The Swtan experience, available in season (outside public opening times), is available on request for school visits. Cyfeillion Swtan are happy to support the school curriculum where possible.

In December Swtan celebrates Christmas in 1900s style, showing traditional decorations  and food, The children have the opportunity to  do some craft work and to visit the small "hands on" display of traditional toys.

Porth Swtan also offers a clean, safe and sandy beach with cliffs and rock pools etc. access is according to the tide of course.

Subject to availability and by courtesy of the proprietor, an opportunity also exists to view and handle live lobsters (stored in tank).

2011 - We will again be celebrating Christmas 1900 style at Swtan this year and would be happy to welcome your pupils.
The museum will be open from Monday 28th of November until Friday 9th December and we will run one session each day - 1.00 to 2.30pm. The times can be varied to suit.

Groups of 6 and 9 years old, in numbers between 20 and 25 pupils will derive the most benefit from the experience.

Cyfeillion Swtan do not charge schools for these visits but any donation towards our costs would be gratefully received.
